Applications

Fisher 249 Caged Displacer Sensors

The Fisher 249 internal buoy sensor is typically used in applications that require large pontoons, which are provided through large flanged fittings. The float can be lowered to the desired depth according to the length of the connecting rod. These sensors are designed to measure changes in the level of the process vessel, liquid interface level, or density/specific specific gravity using Archimedes’ principle.

The characteristics of

The floats respond to small specific gravity changes, so these meters can be used in density applications and other applications that require response to changes in low-level input signals.

Very few moving parts are used. Bladder-driven bearings in the buoy sensor help provide low friction operation. Buoy sensor grades up to CL2500.

The torsion tube can be replaced without removing the arm.
